We all have experienced this some time or the other - when we think we have it all figured out, only to find out later and learn that things don't always happen the way we plan or anticipate. This year has been quite a challenge for me with it's agonizing set backs and disappointments. However, as usual, we eventually come to see the broader picture and realize the blessings hidden within our set backs and trials. I have come to realize what a blessing this year has turned out to be despite these disappointments. Because of the experiences I gained this year, I am further and better equipped to pursue my goal. In all this, I have come to learn that life has a mysterious way of showing us exactly what we need to see, what we need to know. Sometimes it may come in the guise of disappointments and set backs. However, whichever way it comes, we should always try to treasure and appreciate the experiences that come along with it.
We need to let go of the need to constantly keep score. There are great possibilities patiently waiting to happen for us. Often times it may not be what we think or hope it is, but it is important that we let go of some of the obsessive attachments that we may have towards a certain thing. Remember that all we could ever hope for is already connected to us but it becomes impossible to see if we are constantly focused on getting more, or something else.

So, stop interfering with your own authentic fulfillment. Sincerely treasure each and every experience, and there will be much more to treasure.

Isn't it interesting how we try to control every aspect of our lives, only to find out that something wasn't quite the right thing for us.
And our quest for more sometimes takes us down the wrong path. More things, more money, more fame, more power, more glitz and glamor, more, more ,more.

It isn't the destination...just preparation for what is to come. Our experience here is short and is supposed to shape us, mold us, to be more like our Creator.
